Adeus Tomas!
What an exciting time is it to be in Witham ward at the moment. Today was Tomas Sagripanti's last Sunday before he heads off for Argentina. Luckily, he already knows HIS language!
It was so sweet to see the love that radiates from that family, a true example of what is important. Family truly is ordained of God and essential to his eternal plan. It is precious to see the kind acts between siblings as testament to how much they will miss one another.
Still, in a wider sense we also have the ward family and that sense of strength clear today as well. What a beautiful atmosphere of mutual encouragement and appreciation can be felt as you gather around cake and Schloer! Even a bit of haphazard singing brings you together. It is wonderful to know that you are never alone and there are always people there to support you.
I guess I can't pretend I still have two months to prepare now. In a few short weeks it will be me getting the mission advice and the final hugs goodbye. The neat tie banner will be replaced with whatever my mum can concoct. What is the theme for sister missionaries anyway? Today it got very real and very soon.
